SAMIE Inc. (“SAMIE”) is dedicated to ensuring the privacy of our customers and visitors who use our Web Sites. This policy statement ("Policy") explains our privacy practices and procedures for our online service locations (including but not limited to our websites, mobile application, and other content or services) posting a link to this Policy (herein referred to as “Web Sites”) owned and made available through SAMIE Web Sites, its subdivision Samie Collection, the U.S. version of SamieCollection.com.

We at SAMIE believe that our valued customers and guests, should be aware of the information we collected from you, as well as understand how your information is protected and used. We believe that you should be able to communicate with us easily to limit the disclosure of any of your personally identifiable information, where practicable, and to address any questions or concerns that you may have. Unless explicitly stated within the Policy, your personally identifiable information will not be disclosed to unaffiliated third parties without your consent.

This Policy applies to SAMIE Web Sites, which are intended for the use of persons residing in the United States (including its territories and possessions), and for delivery of products and services within the United States. By using the SAMIE Web Sites or providing us with any information, you consent to the transfer to, and processing, usage, sharing and storage of your information, including personal information, in the United States as set forth in this Policy. By using the SAMIE Web Sites, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set forth in this Policy. Information We Collect

SAMIE collects a variety of personally identifiable information about users of our Web Sites in order to ensure an enjoyable and seamless online shopping experience. The term “personal information” as defined by SAMIE does not include “aggregate data.” Aggregated customer information – for example, a report on how many people visited the Web Sites at a given day – is used to understand customer trends and needs to refine our existing products and services and to consider new product and service offerings.

SAMIE Web Sites may be visited anonymously. To enhance your experience, we will only collect information provided to us: your name, billing address, shipping address, telephone number, email address, and/or credit card number. Such information is collected when using services on our Web Sites, purchasing a product, participate in promotional events, or create an account on SAMIE Web Sites. In some cases, such as gift purchases, we may collect information about someone other than you, including the recipient’s name, shipping or mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address. When requesting an order to be shipped to a third party recipient, your name, contact information, and message may be included in communications with the recipient. Information regarding third party recipients are not used for marketing purposes.

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act – COPPA

While we understand the importance of protecting the privacy of children, SAMIE is a general audience service available visitors of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information of children and individuals under the age of 13, as outlined by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Use of Customers’ Personally Identifiable Information

SAMIE may collect customers’ personally identifiable information when you register for an account, purchase items, participate in SAMIE promotions or survey questionnaires, respond to marketing communications, or browse and interact with SAMIE Web Sites. Such information can be used in the following ways:

1. To quickly deliver all requested products and services to you in an efficient manner such as billing, processing transactions, to provide products or services, and resolve issues with your purchase.
2. To inform or communicate with you regarding products and services that you may be interested in or promotional events.
3. Internal business purposes for reporting, to administer promotions, surveys, or other site features.
4. If you have registered to receive our e-mail newsletter, we may send you periodic e-mails. Information Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. SAMIE uses a secure server and all information you provide is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology using 256-bit encryption and our security is Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. However, you can take additional steps on your own to safeguard your personal information. For example, you should be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer and log out of any web site, including this Web Site, after viewing personal account information from the “My Account” page. Please be advised that SAMIE cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit to us for those beyond our control over the internet you might visit, interact with, or from which you might buy products or services so you acknowledge that you transmit information to us at your own risk.

Cookies and Web Tracking Technologies

Cookies

Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your web browser (if you allow) that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information so that when you return to that site, the site operator knows who you are and can personalize your visit. Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. The term "outside parties" does not include Web Site hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our Web Site, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We or others may store, display, reproduce, publish, distribute or otherwise use User Content and may or may not attribute it to you. Others may have access to this User Content and may have the ability to share it with third parties. Please think carefully before deciding the type of information you are willing to share, including personally identifiable information, in connection with your User Content. Please note that SAMIE does not control who will have access to the information that you choose to make public, and cannot ensure that parties who have access to such publicly available information will respect your privacy or keep it secure. We are not responsible for the privacy or security of any information that you make publicly available on the SAMIE Web Sites or what others do with information you share with them on the SAMIE Web Sites. We are not responsible for the accuracy, use or misuse of any User Content that you disclose or receive from third parties through the SAMIE Web Sites. We may also publish your name, voice, likeness and other personally identifiable information that is part of your User Content, and we may use the content, or any portion of the content, for advertising, marketing, publicity and promotional activities.

Third Party Links

To enhance your online experience on SAMIE Web Sites, we include third-party links on our Web Sites. Third-party analytics and other service providers may set and access their own Tracking Technologies on your device and they may otherwise collect or have access to information about you, potentially including personally identifiable information, about you. We are not responsible for those third party technologies or activities arising out of them. This may include third-party tools such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or other third-party posting or content sharing tools and by so interacting you consent to such third party practices. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. Therefore, SAMIE has no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Business Transfers

Information about our customers, including personally identifiable information, may be disclosed as part of any merger, acquisition, or sale of company assets, including during due diligence. It may also be disclosed in the unlikely event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which personally identifiable information would be transferred as one of the business assets of the company. We may share your information, including personally identifiable information, with our parent, subsidiaries and affiliates.

Remove or Modify Personally Identifiable Information

To unsubscribe from email marketing communications, click the Unsubscribe link provided at the bottom of such emails. Please note that even if you unsubscribed, you may receive emails already in production due to email schedules. To delete your online account from our database, please contact us at service@samiecollection.com. Please note we may maintain information about individual sales transactions to service an ongoing transaction and for record keeping purposes.

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you submit to us, such as your contact information provided as part of registration, shipping, and billing information.

Your Consent to Our Services

SAMIE will not disclose personally identifiable information other than in accordance with this Policy. In general, this means that you must consent to the disclosure in advance, except as otherwise set forth in this Policy. Your consent to disclose personally identifiable information can be implied simply by the nature of your request, such as when you ask us to deliver a product to you using our shipping agent.

Customer Communications Policy

We will send e-mail messages to you only if you have specifically requested that we do so. We include an unsubscribe link in any advertisement we send to you by e-mail which you can use to request that we stop sending e-mail advertisements to you.

We reserve the right to send you certain communications regarding your account or use of the SAMIE Web Sites, such as administrative and service announcements and these transactional account messages may be unaffected if you choose to opt-out from receiving our marketing communications. When you communicate with us electronically, such as via e-mail and text message, you consent to receive communications from us electronically.

Updates to Our Policy

This Policy may be revised and updated by SAMIE at our discretion due to changes in business practices, products, or services offered on our Web Sites. Please refer to this page to stay updated on the latest revision of the Privacy Policy.

Your California Privacy Rights

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents who have supplied personal information, as defined in the statute, to us to, under certain circumstances, to request and obtain certain information regarding our disclosure, if any, of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. If this applies, you may obtain the categories of personal information shared and the names and addresses of all third parties that received personal information for their direct marketing purposes during the immediately prior calendar year (e.g. requests made in 2014 will receive information about 2013 sharing activities).
